Looking for the perfect savory snack? Chipotle roasted almonds are great to make ahead and have on hand, and really hit the spot with that smoky flavor.
– 3 c raw almonds
– 1/2 tsp chipotle chili powder (or less depending on spice level preferred)
– 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
– 1 Tbsp olive or avocado oil
– 1 tsp fine grain sea salt
Preheat your oven to 325 degrees and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Toss together the raw almonds, oil, spices, and half of the salt. Spread out the almonds in a single layer on the pan and roast for 25-30 minutes, stirring twice throughout. Remove from oven, sprinkle with remainder of salt, allow to cool, and enjoy!
